On-Line Nominations User Guide
The Online nomination system allows all registered Owner/Trainers and Public Trainers to nominate the current greyhounds they have on their property for training purposes. This is in accordance with Rule 43.3 of the Rules of Racing. This system allows these registered licenced persons to nominate securely through the internet without having to contact the National Office.
NSW Owner Declaration
Any New South Wales based persons who wish to race greyhounds in New Zealand and are not currently registered with the NSW Regulatory Authority or have not fully registered as an owner with Greyhound Racing New Zealand must complete the declaration below. Current registration proof, or completion of this declaration, forms part of the requirements of Greyhound Racing New Zealand (along with other relevant passport requirements) when Australian greyhounds are imported into New Zealand for racing or breeding purposes.

Import Form
Bringing a greyhound over from Australia? Greyhounds can race in New Zealand on their Australian registration certificates but this Import Form MUST be completed for all greyhounds that are imported to New Zealand.
The 'Imported Greyhound Declaration' form is also required in compliance with Rule 59.1.

Charge Authority
Request for another person to be in charge of my Greyhound/s. In terms of Rule 66.4 I request authority for any of the listed persons to be in charge of greyhounds of which I am the registered Owner, Trainer, Owner/Handler or Owner/Trainer when I am not present at any meeting at which my greyhounds are entered to compete.
Transfer of Ownership
The Authority of Transfer must be signed by the owner and also the intending purchaser, and the transfer and the greyhound registration certificate and the appropriate fee must be forwarded to the Association office within 14 days from the sale as shown on the Authority to Transfer. Rule 133 (3).
Transfer of Trainer
The trainer transfer notification must be completed by the current trainer and the new trainer & forwarded to the Association office within 14 days from the date of transfer. This notification neither replaces nor substitutes for the greyhound’s owner’s authorisation for the change of trainer; it is intended solely to update GRNZ trainer records. Both the existing and proposed new trainer must gain the greyhound owners agreement to change trainer.
Litter Registration
Authority to Register Litters. I hereby authorise the person named in the schedule below to have custody of the below named greyhound and effect any registration under the rules, as shall for the time being and from time to time be made by the Association. The authorisation shall remain in force until revoked in writing by either the present registered owner of the greyhound or his/her executors.
