Hall of Fame Collar

NZGRA Hall of Fame

The New Zealand Greyhound Racing Association Hall of Fame was introduced in 2008 (its centenary year) to formally celebrate and acknowledge the champions of the sport of Greyhound Racing in New Zealand. The inaugural inductees were Misty Anna and Cecilia Lloyd. Rummo was inducted in 2009.

Each year the GRNZ Board consults with an expert panel and selects one or more greyhound(s) to be inducted.

Any greyhounds inducted are announced at the annual Awards Gala Dinner.

All Hall of Fame greyhounds are displayed at the GRNZ head office in Petone.
The owner and connections of the greyhounds are presented with a specially made collar and certificate to commemorate their induction.
