NZRB/TAB - changes to newspaper form
FROM THE NZ RACING BOARD:
"From tomorrow, Friday 17 February, you will see some changes to our raceform layouts in the major newspapers - The Dominion Post, The Press, ODT, NZ Herald and the Sunday News.
Raceform sections on Friday, and the Sunday News raceform, will be slightly shorter as we reduce the amount of Australian form included. We are also removing the ‘Best Bets wrap-arounds’ which were published in the Dominion Post and The Press.
Raceform sections for other days are not affected and there are no changes to New Zealand racing form information.
The changes will provide annualised costs savings of $900,000 per year, or $1.25m across the rest of this season and next, and are part of the NZRB’s ongoing focus on cost management, to ensure we are able to maximise our distributions to the New Zealand racing industry.
We will continue to look at further improvements to our overall raceform publications across both print and digital platforms, so that we are best meeting our customer’s raceform needs.
